Roborock Saros 20 Sonic is a premium robot vacuum and mop designed for automated everyday floor care. Key functionality: • Maximum suction power of 36,000 Pa is designed to pick up fine dust, crumbs and hair on hard floors and carpets. • With a low body height of about 7.95 cm, it can reach under many sofas, beds and low cabinets. • Reactive AI 3.0 handles mapping, positioning and route planning so the robot can clean systematically instead of moving randomly. • The anti-tangle brush system is designed to guide long hair through the brush path and reduce manual hair removal. • The liftable chassis / climbing system is designed to cross thresholds of up to 8.8 cm under the manufacturer’s stated test conditions. • Extendable edge-cleaning elements reach closer to skirting boards, corners and furniture legs than fixed brushes or mops. • VibraRise 5.0 uses up to 4,000 sonic vibrations per minute and up to 14 N downward pressure to scrub dried-on dirt; the mop can also be detached for selected carpet / vacuum-only routines. • Automatic mop detachment lets the dock leave the wet-cleaning parts behind for vacuum-only jobs or selected carpet routines. • The multifunction dock automates key maintenance tasks such as dust emptying, mop washing, water management, charging and drying, reducing day-to-day handling. • The dock washes the mopping system with water up to 100 °C according to the manufacturer, helping dissolve greasy residue and keep the cleaning parts ready for the next run. • After washing, warm-air drying at up to 55 °C helps dry the mop or roller and reduce lingering moisture. • The companion app provides maps, room selection, schedules, cleaning intensity, no-go zones and maintenance information; available options depend on the model. Practical use: In daily use, the main benefit is automation: once maps, rooms, carpet behaviour and schedules are configured, routine cleaning can run with much less manual intervention. Performance still depends on floor type, clutter, thresholds and correct dock maintenance.
